How do I recruit and manage my affiliates?

Enrolll the people who already talk about you (past customers, neighboring businesses, coaches, contractors) and send each one an invite with their own login. They get a self-service portal, so you're not emailing screenshots every month to prove what they earned.

How does referral tracking actually work?

Every affiliate gets a unique link with a cookie window you choose. When someone clicks it and later fills out a form, finishes a survey or books an appointment, that lead is credited to the affiliate who sent them, and when they buy, the sale is credited too.

Can I set commissions my own way?

Yes, the math is yours. Pay a percentage or a flat fee, once or on every renewal, and use different rates for different products. Cap how many charges earn a commission, or step the rate down after the first few so a long subscription doesn't outrun your margin.

Commissions move through an approval workflow (pending, approved, paid) so nothing goes out until you say so. PayPal payouts can run automatically on your terms; every other method is tracked in the same ledger and marked paid once you've sent it, so your records stay in one place.

Is this for running my own affiliate program?

Can I pay per lead or only per sale?

Both. You can credit and pay an affiliate for referred leads (form fills, survey completions or booked appointments) and for the sales those leads turn into.

How do affiliates get paid?

PayPal payouts can run automatically on your NET terms. Stripe, Wise, bank transfer, and check are tracked in the same ledger and marked paid once you've sent the money, so every payout stays on the record.

Can I do recurring commissions?

Yes, on subscription products. The affiliate earns on renewals, and you can cap the number of charges that earn or step the rate down after the first few.
